Bartenders Wanted

Location: The Borough – Downingtown, PA

What You'll Do:

  • You need to know how to make drinks. During your interview, we’ll be asked what ingredients go into popular cocktails. If you’ve worked behind a bar before, this should come naturally.

  • Confident handling high-volume service and taking multiple orders at once

  • Can manage both bar guests and service tickets efficiently

  • Know the food, beer, and cocktail menus — or willing to learn fast

  • Clean, organized, and keeps the bar guest-ready all shift long

  • Personable, professional, and approachable with every guest

  • Positive attitude and strong floor presence

  • Solid common sense and quick thinking

  • Basic math skills — you’re accurate when ringing in and closing out tabs

  • High-character, reliable, and ready to work every shift

  • Keeps personal drama off the floor — focused and dialed in during shifts

  • Committed to consistency — cocktails should taste the same no matter who makes them

  • Willing to juice fresh citrus and prep house-made purées

  • Able to make all types of beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc.

Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality

  • Attention to detail — glassware, garnishes, clean presentation

  • A natural with people — welcoming, warm, and great at reading guests

  • Solid communicator who can make recommendations and answer questions

  • Strong memory for drink recipes, regulars’ orders, and changes

  • Stays relaxed under pressure, even during busy shifts

  • Team player — helps others, supports the floor, and moves as a unit

  • Reliable and accountable — we can count on you

  • Always looking to level up — from cocktails to service skills

The Role of the Bartender Here:

  • You're the organizer of the guest experience — from greeting, to order-taking, to creating and setting the vibe

  • You set the tone and keep the energy up — bartenders are the face of the bar

  • You're the star of the show — people sit at the bar for a reason: interaction, entertainment, and service

  • You help create a fun, memorable experience that keeps guests coming back again and again

  • You make guests feel seen, heard, and taken care of — every time

  • You bring top-notch service with personality, humor, and professionalism

  • You help drive a culture of entertainment, hospitality, and high standards

A Few Musts:

  • Hair tied up in a bun (if serving food)

  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

  • Respect your space and your team — clean, organized, and ready for action

What We Offer:

  • A high-energy, supportive environment with a team-first culture

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Strong earning potential in a busy, fast-paced bar

  • A chance to grow with a crew that values hard work, respect, and real hospitality

  • Compensation: Hourly + Tips
