American Pub Grub Chef Wanted

We are seeking a professional Chef with a high degree of technical culinary ability. To create trendy,  buzz worthy contemporary American style pub grub. Ability to manage costs and a proven track record of kitchen cost and inventory management. Capable to work with others and lead by example. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and create all served food

  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours

  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions

  • Follow standard recipes and special diet orders

  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in running and managing a kitchen.

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well in teams

  • Knowledge of food and labor cost

  • Making and managing a schedule and running a team
